iPhone/iPad/iPod with iOS 3.1 or later.

On Windows 7 it is recommended to update video card drivers to the latest version.
Both your computer and mobile device should be connected to the same local area network.
On iPhone 3G/3GS Wi-Fi performance can be severely impaired when Bluetooth is active, because the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios use the same antenna. Please disable Bluetooth during iDisplay use to avoid connection-related issues.
On Mac: If iDisplay rendering delays occur, please try decreasing frame rate. Please click on iDisplay icon in Dock, select in the menu iDisplay-> Preferences, then please select appropriate device (iPhone | iPad | iPod Touch | Android), uncheck "Auto configuration for optimal speed/quality" and then decrease "Frames per second" value.
Please make sure to always use the latest versions of both mobile and desktop applications – outdated versions might cause connectivity difficulties.
Please make sure that your computer and your device are in the same Wi-Fi network.
Please check whether Bluetooth is off on your device if you device is iPhone 3G/3GS.
If the issue persists, please try to enter IP address and port number manually. You may find IP address and port number in iDisplay on your computer.
Windows: point mouse cursor to iDisplay icon in system tray. You will then see a tooltip with IP address and port number.
Mac: press iDisplay icon in menu bar and select "IP address and port information".
Please make sure that iDisplay service/port number is not blocked by firewall/antivirus or try to temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall.
If none of these helps please try to restart your computer.
At the first start please check and correct the layout of virtual display in relation to your main screen.
* Mac: open System Preferences / Displays / Arrangement.
* Windows : when device is connected, right-click iDisplay icon in the tray and select Settings / Display arrangement.
After that you can move windows to your iPhone, iPad or Android device by dragging them to the corresponding screen area. For example, if you have your virtual display located by the bottom right corner of the main screen, drag any window to the bottom right corner of your main screen and you'll see it on the mobile device.
If you are connected to a Windows computer, you may right-click on window capture and select "Move to iDisplay".
Also if you are connected to a Windows computer, you may move windows from/to iDisplay directly from your device. Please tap with two fingers on the screen and choose application from the list in the upper left corner (on iPad) or select button with two windows (on iPhone).
Restart your Mac. When using iDisplay please make sure that "Mirror displays" is unchecked in "System Preferences" -> "Displays" -> "Arrangement". Otherwise your Mac display will mirror secondary display on your iPhone / iPad / iPod / Androi and it will not be possible to control your Mac properly.
You have enabled Single Window mode on iDisplay Desktop. When Single Windows mode is enabled you can work only with one window on your device that is stretched to the whole iDisplay screen. You can not use right-click or drag-n-drop gestures and there is no mouse arrow. It may be suitable for web-surfing, image browsing, reading or monitoring something. You can tap with two fingers on the screen and choose applications or windows from the list in the upper left corner (on iPad) or select button with two windows (on iPhone).
If you want turn it off please press iDisplay icon in menu bar and select "Additional Window" under "Mode".
This happens because of peculiarities of your video card. iDisplay will still work on your computer, however, Aero theme will be disabled while using iDisplay.
iDisplay Lite version does not install drivers and services onto your Mac due to AppStore legacy restrictions. It can work only in restricted mode (Single Window Mode). You can install it directly from Mac App Store and uninstall it by moving it to the Trash.
iDisplay Full version requires separate installation and uninstallation procedures, it can be downloaded from our website. It can run as both regular additional display, and in the Singe Window Mode.
If you use iDisplay with Mac computer, you can connect multiple devices at one and the same time. All these devices can be used as additional displays.
On your computer please press iDisplay icon in menu bar and select "Preferences".
On "General" tab please set the maximum number of the devices which you plan to have connected simultaneously.
On "Devices" tab you can see information about your devices and check whether they are connected currently.
